At Sanders Family Winery you will be introduced to the man known as “The King of Nevada Wine” Jack Sanders, who started Nevada’s first winery. Sample (7) different Nevada-made wines during a formal wine tasting where each wine is explained to you and what it may pair well with. You can peruse the many handmade crafts, jewelry, and other unique items in the gift shop, or purchase wines you won’t find anywhere else.
Enjoy (5) wine samples at Artesian cellars and meet the winemakers at this boutique winery located in the heart of Pahrump. On most days, you will be able to speak directly with the winemakers to ask questions about the complexities of growing grapes in the Mojave Desert and how they make their award-winning wines. In addition to the wine tastings, you will sample (3) of their unique flat breads on a gluten free crust, pairing well with their award-winning wines.
Your final wine tastings will be at Stonewise Mead & Cider. Located in a strip mall it doesn’t seem like much from the outside, but inside you will fill your tastebuds with a truly unique experience of wine made of honey (mead) and apples (cider). Learn about how this young couple got started in making one of the oldest beverages known to mankind. One of Pahrump’s true hidden gems.
